JOB TITLE Production Designer

JOB DESCRIPTION Alucraft Ltd. have an excellent opportunity for a Production Designer with previous experience working in a sheet metal fabrication company.

You will be proficient with both AutoCad LT & Solidworks (Sheet Metal) software and be comfortable developing complex top-down designs and large assembly layouts.

You will be part of Design for Production (DFP), which sits in our busy Design Office of approximately 30 people. The scope of your role is extensive and offers great opportunities to excel and have a meaningful impact on the success of the company.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Preparing drawings of sheet metal parts and assemblies using Solidworks involving;
    selection of scales
    dimensioning
    detailed and sectional views from AutoCAD drawing details and layouts
  • Maintaining established schedules
  • Working to and meeting project/programme deadlines
  • Checking the accuracy of the work of others, where appropriate
  • Acting as a key source of knowledge on manufacturing processes such as tooling limitations
KEY REQUIREMENTS
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar relevant position
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office package and Outlook
  • Proficient in AutoCAD LT in drawing, drafting and design tasks
  • Proficient in SolidWorks (Sheet Metal) in drawing, drafting and design tasks
  • Ability to develop complex, top-down designs and large assembly layouts
  • Ability to communicate across all levels of an organisation
  • A highly engaged, proactive and motivated attitude
  • A willingness and ability to be a team-player with a ‘can-do’ approach
ADVANTAGEOUS
  • Experience programming CNC Punch / Laser machines
  • Experience of Trumpf TruTops Boost software

JOB DESCRIPTION Williaam Cox have a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Administrator to join the ‘Smoke Ventilation and Rooflights’ division.

The scope of this role is to provide administrative support to the Sales team and is crucial in ensuring the success of the division and the wider business.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Management of all work activity through the CRM system
  • Ensuring that the CRM system is kept updated to allow for accurate reporting
  • Management of work activity through the ERP system – Intact iQ
  • Preparing quotations and tenders for the Sales team
  • Liaising with the Accounts Department regarding invoicing and statements
  • Administration and paperwork related to contracts and projects
  • Issuing Commissioning Certificates and logging of same
  • Compilation of O&M Manuals (Operation and Maintenance) and distribution of same
  • Act as a support contact for the Sales team by manging customer relationships when the team are on the road and providing key insights
  • Answering and directing incoming calls when diverted from the main switchboard
  • Providing cover of the Reception desk when required
KEY REQUIREMENTS
  • A minimum of 2 years’ working in a busy office environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency with CRM and ERP systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Outlook
  • Broad commercial acumen
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to build effective, professional relationships
  • A highly-engaged, motivated individual who is a team player
  • Previous Sales experience would be an advantage but is not necessary

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Essential

  • Must have in-depth knowledge of construction industry methodologies on detailing and building erection sequencing
  • Computer literate in AutoCAD /3D modelling / Microsoft office
  • Have experience of the major aluminium systems supplier’s products
  • 5 years facade detailing and procurement experience

Desirable

  • Experience in Construction or Engineering environment
  • Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or related discipline
